Kindergarten or kindergarten

Kindergarten or kindergarten is abbreviated early childhood education (ie 6 years of age or below) in the form of formal education. Kindergarten curriculum emphasis on providing educational stimulus to help the growth and development of physical and spiritual readiness in order to have a child entering further education.

The duration of study a student in kindergarten usually depends on the assessed level of intelligence of the report card per semester. In general, to graduate from the program in kindergarten for 2 (two) years, namely:

     * TK 0 (zero) Small (small TK) for 1 (one) year
     * TK 0 (zero) Large (large TK) for 1 (one) year

The average lifespan of at least the early childhood can learn in a kindergarten ranged 4-5 years while the average age ranges from kindergarten to graduate 6-7 years. After graduating from kindergarten, or school education outside of school and education more equal, students then go on to higher education on it, the elementary school or its equivalent.

In Indonesia, a person is not obliged to pursue education in kindergarten.

In kindergarten, students are given the opportunity to learn and are given curriculum age-appropriate learning at each level. Students are taught about the following particulars:

     * Religion,
     * Budi language,
     * Counting,
     * Reading (familiar characters and spelling),
     * Singing,
     * Socializing within the family and his playmates, and
     * A variety of other skills.

TK goal is to enhance children's creativity and raced to learn about a wide range of scientific approaches to the mind and language, religious, social, emotional, physical, motor, cognitive, language, art, and independence. All are designed as an effort to develop the power of thought and the role of children in her life. learning activities are packed in a model of learning while playing.
